Add Funding Sources to Budgets

Note: The information in this section refers to the process for adding a funding source to a budget. The process is the same for creating a new budget and editing an existing budget.

  1. From the Budget Detail page, select the Add funding source button.

  2. From the Add Source to Budget screen, select the source to connect to from the Funding Source field.

    Note: If a funding source is not yet available, new cash or in-kind sources can be added.

  3. Specify the cash value to allot to the budget in the Total amount for this budget field.

    Note: The value that is available in the budget will be shown underneath this field. It is important to note that if a funding source is already being used for another budget, then the available value shown is what remains in the source.

  4. Select Save to add the source to your budget.

Tip: Repeat this process to add multiple funding sources to a budget.
