Texting workflow
As an agent in Guided Fundraising, you have 2 main workflows: the calling workflow and the texting workflow. The texting workflow is where you go to quickly respond to your new text messages in order from oldest to newest.

Your manager creates a sequence of outreach for each campaign in Guided Fundraising. This sequence can include templated text messages that send automatically at specific points in the campaign. For example, your campaign may have a follow-up text message that sends automatically after an attempted phone call, assuming you are unable to contact the prospect. Some text messages will be sent on your behalf to prospects you have tried to call. When prospects respond to text messages that were sent on your behalf, you will see those messages appear in the texting workflow in Guided Fundraising.
If a prospect doesn't respond to the initial text message or an agent doesn't record a result, the prospect continues to the next play in the campaign.

From the Home screen, you'll see when you have new messages from prospects and will be able to select Start Responding to begin the texting workflow. This workflow will guide you through your messages from oldest to newest, 1 prospect at a time. Similar to the calling workflow, you'll see all of the prospect's information on the left side of the screen, and will have your available actions on the right side of the screen. In the center of the screen, you will see your conversation thread with the prospect. To respond, type a message in the message area and select send. After you are done sending your message and recording any notes or pledges, select Next to go to the next message in your workflow.

When you receive new messages from prospects, the status of the message will default to New. This prompts the message to display in your texting workflow. When you reply to a message, the status will automatically change to "Archived." If you'd like to keep the message on your radar, as a reminder to follow up, you can change the status back to New by selecting the link in the upper right portion of the page.
-
New: Replies from prospects default to New. These messages will show in your new messages section and in the texting workflow.
-
Archived: After you reply, messages are automatically archived, but can be marked as new again. Archived messages show in the all messages section in your inbox.

-
Record pledge: You can record a pledge from a text message conversation by selecting Record Pledge. If you select the online pledge option, you can include a message with a link that will send to your prospect upon submitting your pledge. You may want to let the prospect know you will be entering a pledge and sending them a link before submitting the pledge.
-
Notes: You can record any internal notes during your conversation by selecting the notes section in the center of the screen. Your notes are saved automatically when advancing to the next message or exiting the workflow. Your notes will persist throughout the campaign so you can add to your notes as you text back and forth with your prospects.
-
Next message:Goes to the next message / prospect in your texting workflow. You can skip past prospects without responding. If you leave the message status as new, the message will show up again the next time you start your texting workflow. Messages are ordered from oldest to newest, so prospects who responded earlier show up first in the texting workflow. New prospects who respond while you are in the texting workflow will not be added to your current workflow, but you will see that you have new messages when you exit the workflow. Any notes will be saved when you progress to the next message.

The session time at the bottom right corner of the page displays how long you've been in the texting workflow. This time is summarized in the hours logged tile on your Home screen.

You can exit the texting workflow at any time by selecting Exit at the bottom right corner of the screen. Finish sending any messages and typing any notes before selecting Exit. All of your notes are saved when you select Exit.
