Enable Tell-a-Friend

If you would like to enable your users to pass along the alert information to others, then configure the Tell-a-Friend option.

To configure Tell-a-Friend

  1. Select the Tell-a-Friend tab for your specific call alert.

  2. Select the Yes radio button at the top of the page to enable this feature for this alert.

  3. Modify the Tell-a-Friend Description that appears to constituents when they take action or simply leave the default language intact.

  4. Modify the Tell-a-Friend Email Subject and Text Body of the Message that constituents will pass along to their friends, or, again, simply leave the default text in these fields. (Activists will be able to edit these fields.) A link to your call alert will automatically be inserted in this email.

  5. Click Save to complete the configuration.

  6. Click Cancel to return to the Call Alert Info page.

Note: If enabled, the Tell-a-Friend option will be presented on the Thank You Page after the constituent logs a call.
