Override District Information

You can view voting District Information for contacts in their contact profiles. This information is important if you are using any of the Advocacy applications, because these District IDs determine which legislators will be presented to constituents when they take Alerts or use the Find Rep component. This district information is provided automatically, based on address. Occasionally, however, constituents may insist that they are not in the district where they have been automatically placed. After verifying the information they provide, administrators can override the automatic assignments by entering new values manually.

Note: Once you override Advocacy District Information manually, this information will remain in manual mode unless the address for the contact changes.
