Administrative Roles Setup Custom Workflow Task Assignment Setup Non-Administrative Reader Role Setup

You must add any potential CMS administrator as an Administrator (not as a Constituent) and assign them to an administrative security group that includes CMS privileges.

You might need to add a CMS-only security group and group type, if you want to restrict certain individuals to using Luminate CMS and not Luminate Online applications. You can then assign Administrators to the group, and add more groups if desired.

You might wish to add one or more security groups with labels such as "CMS Managers" to the Site Admins group type. This can be helpful to Website Administrators configuring the folder permissions search and to folder-level Managers assigning folder-level roles.

The basic requirements are the same as for a CMS administrator: assign the Administrator to an administrative security group that includes CMS access. Any Constituent group in Luminate Online is eligible to be assigned the folder-level Reader role in Luminate CMS. Anyone who registers as a Constituent is added automatically to the Constituent "meta-user" group used in Folder Permissions. Constituents can also be assigned automatically or manually to more restricted Constituent user groups.
