To delete an item:

When you delete an item, it is permanently removed from your folder and Workspace and is irretrievable without expensive intervention by Luminate CMS Services. Only delete items you are certain you never need to access again. (If you delete a folder, you are deleting all of its contents.)

Use the Expire action if you want to preserve an item. When you set an expiration date in the item's Authoring Wizard Schedule step, or click Expire on the item Status page, the item remains in your folder but is no longer published and live on the Web.

  1. In Website Explorer, navigate to the folder where you want to delete an item.

  2. Select the item to delete.

  3. Click Delete Items button (red X) and then click OK.

  4. Click Continue in the progress screen.
