Eligibility for CMS Administrative Roles
To be eligible for any administrative role in Luminate CMS, an individual must be:
- A client employee
- An Administrator in Constituent360 who belongs to one of the following administrative security groups:
- Luminate Online Site Administrators security group (Group Type: Site Admins, Security Mode: Admin Security Group) - Members of this group can use Luminate CMS and any Luminate Online application.
- A custom CMS-only security group (custom Group Type: CMS-only Admins, Security Mode: Admin Security Group) - This group and group type are configured by the administrators in Luminate Online to have access only to Luminate CMS. Group members cannot use any Luminate Online application, and none are available from the Administrator Home Page.
Administrative security groups that include CMS permissions can be assigned a CMS administrative role.
There is one further role constraint, set within CMS itself. Your Website Administrator (WSA) configures the folder permissions search in Reports and Tools, specifying which group types are available for role assignment in Folder Permissions. Only individuals and/or groups in the specified group types can be assigned a folder-level role, either Author or Manager.
