The Embed Content Component Fields

Select one of the following:

• CMS (default) - Embed a content item from the current site, or from a different site (host) within the same hostgroup. Use the associated fields to refine your embedding options.

• An external Web site - Embed an item such as a video from an external Web site. Use the text area to paste in the HTML "embed" code.

(This field only displays when embedding a specific item from Luminate CMS)

Select one of the following:

• Use a specific item - Select this option, then choose an item and a display template for the item.

• Use an item related to the current page - (This option only displays if the associated content type has a related-items field) Select this option, then choose the desired related-items field in the Properties step as a source, and a display template for the item.

(This option only displays when embedding a an item from Luminate CMS)

Click Choose Item to browse for an item on the current site or on other sites within the same hostgroup. To select an item from another site, use the drop-down menu at the top of the Browse tab.

(This option only displays when embedding an item related to the current page in Luminate CMS)

The drop-down menu includes any related-item fields in the Properties step of the current content type. Select the field that you want to use as a source. The related item for the page using the single display template that you are editing will display as the embedded item. If there are multiple related items, only the first will display.

(This option only displays when embedding a specific or related item from Luminate CMS)

Select a display template to use when rendering either the specific item you selected manually or the related item.
