To create a menu based on a content category

In this example, you create a drop-down menu in the Authoring Wizard Properties step that is based on a content category (and its subcategories).

1. On the administration page of the content type you are configuring, click Edit in the Fields area. The Form Console displays.

2. Right-click inside the last row of the table and select Insert Row.

3. Click Select in the Form Console. The Select Menu Properties dialog appears.

4. Enter a label and press Tab.

5. Select the Required Field check box.

6. Select Dynamically build menu options based on :[A list of categories]. For more details on Content Categories, see Working with Content Categories.

7. For Choose a set of categories, select the root category you want to use from the drop-down menu. The subcategories of the selected root category appear.

8. Click Done.
