To link the text field to a button or drop-down menu to create an alternate value

1. Open the Form Console and create a button group or select menu.

2. Click Text Field. The Text Field Properties dialog displays.

3. In the Label field, enter a name.

4. Select Link to a button group or select list for alternate values. Two new menu options appear below (in the Validation section), Link Field and Link Value:

• In the Link Field menu, select the name of the button group or select menu.

• In the Link Value menu, select an individual button or option from the group and click OK.
