Use the Form Console
The Form Console allows you to design and configure Save Data forms, Create Content forms, Create Constituent Record forms, and Update Constituent Record forms. Not only can you add and delete fields to customize your form, you also set general form properties. Some of the form properties include sending a confirmation email to the constituent that submits the form, limiting the number of entries that one constituent can make, assigning an approval work flow, and so on. The Form Console button is located in the Visual Editor toolbar.
Constituent Forms vs. Author Entry Forms
The Form Console varies depending on whether you are creating a constituent-facing form or an Author Entry Form. For example, you can insert a Rich Text Field into an Author Entry Form, but not into a constituent-facing form. This topic explains how to use the Form Console with constituent-facing forms. For more information on creating Author Entry Forms, refer to Creating Author Entry Forms.
