Importing CSV files is the same process as importing regular CSV files, except that it must contain an additional field for related items. As well as following the same formatting rules as regular CSV files, the additional related-items field must follow these additional rules and requirements:

The full URL of related content item(s) is specified.

One or more related items may be specified (with each item comma separated).

The order of related items in this column must correspond to their display order -- that is, the first related item will have the first display order, the second (after the comma separator) the second display order, and so on.

You can assign any type of content item. For example, if you click Import Items for a web page content type, then you can assign related items that are Web pages or Images).

The content items can be either in draft or live mode, but not deleted.

You can add new related items.

If you select Overwrite Related Items, existing related items will be removed it they are not in the CSV file.
