To insert the Add Comment Form component to a web page

Note: If the page uses a wrapper or a display template with its own Comments, all Comments interfaces will display and work properly on the live page.

  1. Open the content editor for the item to which you want to add the comments.

  2. Note: Verify that the page does not already contain a Web form. The Add Comment Form component is a Web form, and a Web page can only contain one Web form.)

  3. Decide where you want to insert the two Comments components. For instance, if you are making Comments available for an article within the body of the page, you probably want to insert the components just below the article.

  4. (Optional) Enter some prompt text for site visitors, such as: "Do you have a comment? Enter it in the box below, then click Submit."

  5. Press Enter to go to the next line, then click Insert Component on the HTML Editor toolbar.

  6. From the Component drop-down menu, select Add Comment Form. Use the remaining fields to make any positioning adjustments you want, then click OK. The component is inserted and the Add Comment Form properties dialog appears.

  7. Complete the fields in the Add Comment Form dialog and click OK.
