To enable pagination for a List component

Note: This task can be performed by a folder Author or Manager.

Configure a List component to use a list display template with Pagination Control, and to display fewer items per page than the total number of published items in the list.

Note: A single Web page should invoke only one Pagination Control component. If a page contains multiple paginated lists, within the body itself or inside the page's single display template, the pagination controls cannot function independently. The resulting display can be confusing.

1. Edit a Web page.

2. Insert a List component.

3. For Display Templates, select a list display template that includes a Pagination Control component.

4. Configure the properties of the List component so that the number of items in the Limit size of list box is greater than the number of items in the Page size box or the pagination control will not display.
