Web Form Tab
From the Web Form tab of an item Status page, you manage the Web form residing on a Web page.
Note: The Web Form tab only displays for a Web page item containing a custom Web form.
You can view and manage Web form records (data submitted via the Web form), and set up automatic email notices of form submissions.
To access the tab for a given page, do one of the following:
-
Go to the Status page of the page containing the form -- for instance, by clicking its file name in Website Explorer. Click the Web Form tab.
-
Edit the page containing the Web form. In the Authoring Wizard Enter body content step, right-click on the form and select Form Submissions.
-
From the live Web page containing the form, click the Form Submissions and Notifications tool on the Author Toolbar.
-
The Web Form tab includes the following areas:
Area | Description |
---|---|
Saved Records | Indicates the current number of saved Web form records, as well as the date range when they were submitted. If the form has not been submitted by site visitors or other users, no records display. |
Download Records | From this area you can download submitted Web form data as a single file. Select a radio button to download either all records or only those records submitted during a specified date range. Then click Download. Records are downloaded in Comma Separated (CSV) format only. |
Delete Records | Select one or more records to delete or only those records submitted during a specified date range. Then click Delete. |
Notifications |
An automatic notification email can be sent to specified recipients each time a site visitor submits this Web form. To add a notification recipient, enter the email address (or all or part of a name) of the user you want, then click Go. To be available for selection, a user must belong to an administrative security group that includes Luminate CMS permissions. To remove someone from the existing list of notification recipients for the Web form, click Remove next to the person's name. |
Record Snapshots | Record Snapshots are snapshots, or static copies, of all form submissions existing in the database at the time the form is re-published or before records are deleted. Click on a date/time stamp to view all records as of that point, in CSV format. |
