Website Explorer Toolbar

(Folder Author or Manager)

Website Explorer is available to folder Authors or Managers for their assigned folders. A Website Administrator must also be a folder Author or Manager to use Website Explorer.

Depending on your role, you can use the Website Explorer toolbar to:

  • Create new content

  • Create a new sub-folder within an existing folder

  • Move, copy, or delete folders or content items

  • Publish and expire items individually or in bulk

  • Manage folder properties and permissions

The Website Explorer toolbar enables you to manage folders you select in the left pane, or folders and items you select in the right pane. For instance, use the Move Items button to move a selected Web page to a different folder.

The following table describes the toolbar buttons. Which buttons are available depends on your role, and on whether you select one or more folders or single items in the left or right pane.

Note: A minimized version of the Website Explorer toolbar, the Advanced Search Toolbar, is available in the Website Explorer dialog and other dialogs.
