Upload Location

We recommend the following practices for organizing images:

  • Place all images in a single, root folder called, Assets: /assets/. The Website Administrator can create appropriate content categories, and add category-backed fields to the Properties step of the associated image content type. This allows site authors to categorize each image.

  • Place images in an Assets folder that resides within the folder that contains the page containing the image. For example, news images can be maintained in the assets folder within the news story folder: /news/assets. Similarly, staff images can be stored in the assets folder within the staff page folder: /staff/assets.
