Wrap Text using Alignment Choices when Placing the Image

When you insert an image, you have several Alignment options. Two of those choices let you wrap text as follows:

  • Alignment - Left: This option places the image at the left of the screen and allows text to wrap to the right of the image.

  • Alignment - Right: This option places the image at the right of the screen and allows text to wrap to the left of the image.

With both of these options, text will wrap with single-line spacing.

Tip: With either option, place the image at the beginning of your text to align the text with the top of your image.

To increase the space between the edge of the image and the margin of the text:

  1. Right click on the image you would like to wrap text around.

  2. Click ( Insert/Edit Image).

  3. Type a number in the Vertical space field to increase the space, or padding, between the top and bottom of the image and any text or other content. The unit of measure is pixels. The preview area to the right of the form will change when you tab away from the field.

  4. Type a number in the Horizontal space field to increase the space, or padding, between the top and bottom of the image and any text or other content. The unit of measure is pixels. The preview area to the right of the form will change when you tab away from the field.

  5. When you are satisfied with the alignment and spacing, click Update to return to the editor.
