Manage Your Constituents

Constituents are the registered users on your site, also known as contacts. They can register in several ways:

  • Automatically: By making a donation, buying event tickets, or joining a fundraising event.

  • Directly: By signing up on the site.

  • Manually: Entered by staff or through a batch file.

Each constituent has a record (or profile) with their name, email, and other details. This record is organized into pages:

  • Profile Page: Shows biographical details, how they registered, and activity summaries.

  • Interaction Pages: Track site interactions, transactions, group memberships, preferences, and interests.

With the right permissions, you can update records and assign admin privileges. Constituents can also update their own profiles on the site.

To avoid duplicate records, use duplication prevention tools.
