Managing Rewards
Rewards are a tool for measuring and rewarding Constituent involvement. They allow you to assign points to different online actions based on the value of those actions to your organization. For example, responding to an action alert may be worth ten points while making a donation is worth 30 points. Likewise, you may choose to award more points for larger contributions to stimulate more giving.
As Constituents participate online, they accrue points that are redeemable for gifts or other incentives. The administrator is responsible for assigning points to user actions, for configuring the rewards, and for determining the number of points required to redeem each reward.
You can also create special promotions to encourage action during certain time frames or around specific fundraisers or action alerts. Extra points earned during promotions are added to those points already in place. For example, if Constituents normally receive ten points for a donation but get 30 extra points during the Spring Membership Drive, then they would get 40 points for a donation during this period.
You may keep your Constituents up-to-date regarding their reward point balance through the Personalization menu in the WYSIWYG. Users are required to log in before redeeming reward points.
