Widget Progress Components

A Widget Progress Component is a small snippet of HTML code that provides a link to a page containing a TeamRaiser event, donation form, or Action Alert. The link is typically displayed as a picture that attracts attention or that stands for the mission of the event, donation collection, or action alert. Instruction text can be embedded within the component to instruct people to click the link and perform the necessary actions.

For example, if the Progress Component is linked to a TeamRaiser registration form, the Progress Component could feature the race logo and then have instructions that say, "Click anywhere on the image to sign up and run this race on my team!"

Constituents who want to use the Progress Component will accept it, which displays the Get Snippet button that they click to see the HTML code. They can copy the code and paste it as HTML content anywhere they publish content. When a person clicks the linked image, the appropriate page displays.

You can set a suggested goal for the constituent to achieve (such as 10 registrations, 5 donors, or $1,000) depending on the Widget purpose. The constituents may also enter their own goal. The system tracks the click-throughs and actions taken and displays the information directly on the Widget that the constituent has accepted.

You can run a Widget report to gather information about your constituents who are using the Widget and when it is used.

Instead of a Progress Component, you can also add a Banner Component that features a different linked image.
