Add a Letter to the Editor Alerts Component 

If you are using the Advocacy application, you can add a Letter to the Editor Alerts component, which displays a list of Letter to the Editor alerts.

To add a Letter to the Editor Alerts component:

  1. Create and publish at least one Letter to the Editor Alert associated with a Vote Alert using the Advocacy application.

  2. Access the WYSIWYG content editor window for a page or an email.

  3. Place the cursor where you want to embed the component.

  4. Select components icon, Components.

  5. Select Advocacy and Letter to the Editor Alerts.The Embedded Component Selector for Alert List window opens.

  6. Choose the maximum number of links to show. You can also limit the number of links by choosing to show only those associated with a specific issue.

  7. Select the appropriate radio buttons to configure additional alert behavior.

  8. Select Insert. You will return to the WYSIWYG editor.
