Add a Receipt Request Component

If your site is configured to provide tax receipts, you will have a Receipt Request Component available under Payment Components in the Components menu. This component lets the constituent request a receipt for a specified transaction. Receipts are in PDF format and are emailed to the constituent. You can either embed the component or embed a link to it.

To embed a Receipt Request Component:

  1. Access the WYSIWYG content editor window for a page or an email.

  2. Place the cursor where you want to embed the component.

  3. Click Gear icon, Components.

  4. Click Payment Components > Receipt Request Component. The Component Selector window opens.

  5. Choose one of the following:

    • Embed - places the component on the page or in the email.

    • Link - places a Link to the component on the page or in the email. (Link text is supplied.)

  6. Click Insert. The component is embedded in the WYSIWYG content editor window.

  7. The Receipt Request form, as presented to the non-logged in user, is shown below.

    Note: A Receipt Request is logged as an Interaction in the Contact Profile.
