Insert an Anchor to Jump to a Section of a Page
An anchor is a tagged location on a web page to mark a section of the page. When a URL is appended with an anchor, the web page opens with the anchored section at the top.
Note: Linking to anchors is different depending on whether the link is from the same web page or a different page. See instructions below.
Create an anchor on a page:

In the page you are editing, place the cursor where you want to insert the anchor.

Click the Insert/edit anchor icon

Type an anchor name in the pop-up box.

Click Insert or Update to return to the WYSIWYG content editor window.

Click Save.

Type text for the link, such as, “Back to top”.

Highlight the text.

Click the Insert/edit URL or link icon

In the Insert Link window, select an anchor from the Anchors options.
Note: When creating a link to an internal anchor, you do not need to supply a URL except in email. When in the email WYSIWYG content editor, include the URL appended with the anchor tag.

Type a Title to display when a mouse hovers over the link. This is required for accessibility compliance.

Click Insert. You will return to the WYSIWYG content editor, where the selected text indicates an active link.

Type text for the link, such as, “Back to top”.

Highlight the text.

Click the Insert/edit URL or link icon

In Link URL, type in the URL for the site to which you are linking. Append the “#bookmark name” string to the URL.
Note: If you do not begin the URL with the appropriate protocol (such as
mailto:
for an email address link, orhttp://
for a Website), a confirm popup will open offering to insert the correct prefix. -
In the Insert Link window, select an anchor from the Anchors options.

Click Insert. You will return to the WYSIWYG content editor, where the selected text indicates an active link.
