A Volunteer Event can be anything for which you need to organize volunteers (such as a race or a phone-banking party). Once you create an event, you will create distinct jobs, as well as shifts for each job. You can then manage the event to publish or unpublish your shifts, assign or remove volunteers from shifts, and ensure your shifts are full.
Note: The Volunteer Management application is not yet generally available, so you may not have these options.
