Wrapping by using a Table
You can place a table at the beginning of a paragraph of text and place an image in it; the ensuing text will then wrap around the image, providing you align the table left or right. This technique also allows you to add a border and caption to the image.
To use a table to wrap text around an image:
-
Enter a paragraph of text.
-
Position your cursor at the beginning of the paragraph.
-
Click
, Insert Table.
-
Create a table with 1 column, 1 row, Width 10%, and Alignment left or right. (The box will expand to accommodate the image.)
-
Type a Border width (in pixels) and select Caption as desired.
-
Click Insert to return to the WYSIWYG content editor window.
-
Position the cursor inside the box. Click
Insert/Edit Image. The text should then appear wrapped to the right or left of your image (depending on your choice in Step 4.)
-
To resize the width of the cell containing the text in the table:
- Right-click in the cell.
- Click Cell > Table Cell Properties.
- In the Width field, type in a different number (in pixels).
The space for the caption will appear above the image
Click Update when you are finished. If the cell is too wide or not wide enough, repeat
