Copy Recurring and Multi-Part Events

When copying recurring and multi-part events, keep the following in mind:

  • Recurring Events: Copying a recurring event duplicates all instances of that event. For example, if your Board Meeting is scheduled for the first Monday of each month for two years, copying any instance will create 24 copies (one for each date). Changes made to a copy will only affect instances occurring after the edited event. To modify an entire series, make changes to the first occurrence.

  • Multi-Part Events: Child events within multi-part events cannot be copied.
