Luminate Online Events allow you to create several different event types:

Standard Events that begin and end at a specific time on a specific date

Recurring Events that begin and end at a specific time on a specific day and repeat according to a specified schedule

Multi-Day Events that occur over consecutive days within a date span

Multi-Part Events that have a parent event with individual activities (known as child events) and can occur at various times across more than one date
Standard, Multi-Day, Recurring, and Multi-Part child activities have the following attendance options:

Open, where attendees do not have to register or RSVP for the event. (Note that this is the only attendance option for Recurring events.)

RSVP, where attendees must sign up using the online RSVP page for the event.

Ticket, where attendees must purchase tickets for the event.
Multi-Part parent events have a slightly different set of attendance options available:

Required registration fee for the overall event - Attendees must complete a registration page and pay a registration fee

Optional registration fee for the overall event - Attendees can pay for additional optional registration items along with their required registration

Required registration for the overall event but no fee - Attendees must complete a registration page

No registration required for the overall event - Open to anyone
