Refunding Part of a Ticket Purchase from the Transaction Manager
You can refund individual tickets or an additional gift from a ticket purchase by locating the transaction in the Transaction Manager application and then processing the refund. You can specify to cancel the tickets to remove the name of the ticket purchaser from the Guest List.
To locate the purchase, you can search on the purchaser's name or email address, the approximate purchase amount, or the exact confirmation code of the purchase if known. You can also specify a date range to use in conjunction with the other search criteria.
You can process the refund directly back to the credit card used to purchase the tickets, or select to issue the refund offline (for example, by sending a check to the person). The system updates the transaction in the Luminate Online database but does not remove it from any lists.
