Create a New Page or Single Component Page
When you create a new Page, you'll provide a name and a short description. Either keep or change the default selections for the Security Category to specify who can modify the attributes and content of this Page, and Page Wrapper to determine who can see the Page and what they see in the margins. You can also specify a Content Folder under which to group this Page in the Page Library.
Property options can make the Page available as a secure Page, a reusable Page, or syndication by affiliates.
Before you add content, you'll set up the first Page Version with your naming convention and specify the title to display on the web browser. You can optionally add search keywords to help search engines locate this Page and define META data and tags for advanced search engine placement and information.
If your site uses multiple layouts, select a layout to determine the number and placement of columns on your Page as well as the component areas within the columns before you add content. The four most commonly used layouts display, but you can see all available layouts for your site by selecting Show All Layouts. Use the Create a Single Component Page link as a shortcut to create a Page with one column and one component area and go directly to the Add Content Page without presenting layout options.
Tip: Select Finish to leave the Page blank and continue the set up process without adding content.
