Create a Custom Tell-A-Friend Link for a Page

When you create a Page, a Tell-A-Friend link is automatically added to the Page Wrapper, allowing visitors to email others a link to the Page.

You can customize the email’s subject and body to match the Page content and optionally allow senders to edit or add to the message. The link itself can be changed from an image to text, and its wording can be updated. These settings apply to all versions of the Page.

Each email includes a required opt-out link, as mandated by federal law. While this link cannot be removed, its text can be customized. See the Tell-A-Friend Opt-Out for details.

If no customizations are made, the system uses your organization’s default Tell-A-Friend settings. To revert changes, click “Use Default Content” on the configuration page.
