Before you create a Campaign, define Activity Types, which are generic groups used to organize a campaign's activities. For example, an Activity Type named Hiking might contain two activities: a 1-mile hike and a 2-mile hike.
By organizing your Activities by type, you:

Allow your Hosts and Attendees to easily locate Activities that are of interest to them. For example, they could search for Hikes and locate the hiking Activities associated with any of your Campaigns.

Enable your organization to create liability waivers once for an entire type of Activity rather than for each individual Activity (although waivers can still be customized when necessary).
You can also run reports to determine the success of each type of Activity.
Note: You can delete an Activity Type only if it is not associated with a Campaign.
