The Control Status tab lists the Control record types. Typically, the record types reflect the target system. The supported actions for each control are Disable or Enable.

Use the Disable action to avert a serious problem such as accidentally uploading an entire housefile consisting of millions of names and subsequently overloading the system. By disabling the process, you can resolve the problem while synchronization is stopped.

Use the Enable action to resume the disabled synchronization process after you fix problems that were serious enough to warrant disabling the synchronization process.
