Political Donation Form Pending Contributions
When donors make contributions through Political Campaign donation forms, any gift that exceeds the Gift Queuing Threshold (entered when the form was created) is placed on the Pending Contributions list. These gifts are pre-approved by the donor’s bank but must await administrator approval before the system can process them. As a courtesy to these donors, you should review these transactions frequently to prevent expiration.
You can set up an automatic processing schedule to approve or reject pending political contributions that exceed the Gift Queuing Threshold entered when the political donation form was created.
You can also manually view the Pending Contributions list and choose to approve, reject, or ignore the donations.
You can view a list of any pending transactions that failed during the last processing attempt. These failures may result from issues with the payment-processing gateway or expiration of the pre-authorization period.
