Create a multiple payment sustaining donation level for a Donation Classic donation form
From the top of an Administrator page, click Fundraising > Donation Management.
From the tabs along the top of the Online Giving page, click the Donation Classic tab.
From the donation form list, click Edit from the Actions column of the appropriate sustaining gift donation form.
You can create a sustaining donation level on a sustaining donation form only.
Click the Levels tab.
On the Levels list page, click Sustaining from the drop-down list and click Create.
On the Edit Donation Level page:
For Name, enter the label to display with this giving level (for example, Level 1, Basic, or Bronze) and then either:
Leave the Preset Amount option selected and enter an amount in the field
Click the User Can Specify option, which leaves the field blank.
For What frequency, click the drop-down list and click the time interval at which the donor payment will be collected. You can create multiple levels where you allow the User to Specify the amount, but choose a different frequency (for example, one level for monthly while another level is for quarterly giving).
For How many times, leave the No Limit option selected or, click the Automatically expire after this many times option and enter the number of times the payment will be collected.
For Value of Goods and/or Services, enter the monetary amount of this level if you are providing a premium or a service. The donor will see this their onscreen thank-you page as subtracted from the tax-deductible portion of the donation.
For Restrict to users with access to this category, leave the General security category selected to enable all site visitors to select this giving level, or click the appropriate option from the drop-down list to restrict the selection to specific constituents.
For Restrict to users with this promotion code, enter any promotional code you have associated with this donation level (for example, a code you have mailed to previous donors)
For How should this donation level be displayed, leave the Show the Donation Level Name after the contribution amount option button selected, or click the Show only the contribution amount option.
For Donation Level Description, enter content in the content editor displayed. You can include text, images, links, and other features available in the editor.
Click Save.
To associate a product or service as a premium that already exists:
If the premium does not exist, refer to the Premium Management documentation.
Click the Manage Premiums link.
On the Premium List page, click the checkbox of the premium and click Save.
Click the Levels tab and repeat the steps above to create additional standard donation levels.
