Donation Campaigns
Before you can create donation forms, you need to set up a donation campaign. Donation campaigns manage permissions, configurations, and data related to a goal, such as End of Year Giving.
Choosing campaign attributes sets the default values for donation forms in the campaign.

Attributes are set during campaign creation but can be edited at any time.
Name - An internal name used for finding and sorting the campaigns in the list, queries, and reports.
Description - An internal summary of the campaign for the benefit of campaign administrators.
Security category - Set permission settings for the campaign and campaign objects. See Managing Security to learn more.
Type - A value used to group, filter, and sort campaigns in the list, queries, and reports.
Merchant account - A set of payment processing configurations. See Payment Processing for more information.
Goal - Set a fundraising goal for the campaign.
Maximum Donor Amount - If your fundraiser is subject to legal limitations (e.g., political campaigns) you may set a maximum value for single donations. If a donor enters too large an amount, a message prompts the donor to enter a lesser amount up to the maximum amount.
Group - Automatically assign donors to a new or existing constituent group for email and reporting purposes.
Large gift notification - Automatically notify specified stakeholders when donors give single donations above a specified amount.
Large gift group - Automatically assign donors giving above a specified amount to a new or existing constituent group for email and reporting purposes.
Stakeholder notifications - Set automatic notifications to specified stakeholders when donation conditions are met (e.g., tributes, upsells or premiums, memberships, etc.,).
