Integrate eCommerce with Amazon Web Services S3
eCommerce digital product uploads are limited to 10 MB in size. By using Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) to store products, you can offer much larger files (up to 5 GB) such as video or music for purchase through your Luminate eCommerce site.
Before you begin, you will need an Amazon AWS account. Visit http://aws.amazon.com/s3 to sign up for an account if you do not already have one.

To configure Luminate for use with Amazon S3, you will need two pieces of information about your Amazon AWS account from the Amazon WebServices site:
Visit the Amazon AWS website.
From Your Account on the site menu, select Access Identifiers.
Log in to your AWS account.
On the Access Identifiers page, note the value of Your Access Key ID and Your Secret Access Key.

Log in to Luminate Online as an administrator.
From the navigation bar, click Fundraising and select eCommerce. The Product List page displays.
Click the Global eCommerce Options tab. The Global eCommerce Options page displays.
Click the Amazon WebServices S3 Integration step in the left pane. The Amazon WebServices S3 Integration page displays.
For Amazon WebServices S3 Access Key, enter the value of Your Access Key ID from the Access Identifiers page for your Amazon AWS account.
For Amazon WebServices S3 Secret Key, enter the value of Your Secret Access Key from the Access Identifiers page for your Amazon AWS account.
For Amazon WebServices S3 Bucket Name, leave this field blank.
Click Finish. The Product List page displays again.

These options may generally be left at their default values, but can be changed if needed:
Download link expiration time (in seconds) - Set the download link expiration time. This sets the number of seconds that a download link generated by Luminate Online for an eCommerce product on Amazon S3 will be valid to prevent re-use of the link. The default value is 15 seconds.)
Administrator upload form expiration time (in seconds) - Set how long the form generated on a Luminate Online Admin page for upload remains valid (default is 1800 seconds, or 30 minutes).
Maximum file size for uploading (in MBytes) - Set the maximum file size that can be uploaded to Amazon S3 through the Luminate Online Admin pages. If left blank, the maximum will be the Amazon S3 maximum size of 5GB.
