Publish This Product

You can save your product configuration without publishing it and keep it as a draft or you can publish it now. Publishing the product makes it available for display on store pages according to the dates set in the first task of this create product flow.

Note: Although the product may be published, it will only display on store pages to shoppers when the store is published.

The Publish page displays the thumbnail image selected for the product as well as the product name, short description and price as it will look to shoppers who view it from the catalog page. You can also click the More Information link to view the full description and any selectable options or information fields to be completed if this is a membership or event registration, or a tribute gift purchased on behalf of someone.

Note: After reviewing the information displayed, to:

• Save this product without publishing it, click Finish. The Product List page displays with your new product listed with the status of Draft.

• Make corrections to the attributes shown in the page, click the appropriate task step from the options along the left to return to the page to make the fix. (Note that you can also click Finish to save everything and use the information in the section called Editing the Product Configuration.)

• Publish this product and make it available for purchase, click Publish Product. The Product List page displays with your new product listed with the status of Active.
