Configure Catalog Pages

The Catalog pages display your products as well as the methods to locate certain products, such as the search fields and product categories area for browsing the store.

If your site is enabled for custom layouts and styles, you can select the layout and style sheet to apply to this page.

You can change the default settings of the following to show or hide the:

  • Store Heading text (Shows by default)

  • Cart Summary (Shows by default)

  • Cart Empty message

  • Upsell Messaging (Shows by default)

  • Cross-Sell Products section (Shows by default)

  • Additional Gift (Shows by default)

  • Cancel Purchase button (Shows by default)

  • Catalog Search bar (Shows by default)

  • Search bar displayed on 2 lines

  • Catalog Navigation (Shows by default)

  • Checkout and View Cart even when cart is empty (Shows by default)

  • Buttons displayed along the top as well as the bottom (Shows by default)

  • Featured Products information (if enabled for the site, and is enabled by default)

You can add content to the page heading section that will appear at the top of the page using the Content editor. You can format text, add images, insert links, and so on. You can continue to display a Store Heading above this page heading, or choose to turn off the Store Heading on these pages.

You can customize the Search bar and product hierarchies by changing the:

  • Categories Heading label

  • Browse All Link Text label

  • Search Name Heading label

  • Search Price Heading label

  • Search Type Heading label

  • Sort Order Heading label

  • Featured Products Heading label (if this option is enabled)
