Delete a Transaction

Offline transactions are donations that have been processed or recorded on the Transaction tab of a constituent or an organization. An offline transaction can be deleted if it was recorded as cash or check.

Deleting a transaction may be necessary if the donation was recorded in the wrong record.

To delete a transaction

  1. In Transactions search for the transaction.

  2. Click Delete in Actions.

  3. Click Submit.

  4. Click Confirm.

  5. Click Done . The transaction will no longer be listed, but you can view the Transaction Change in the Constituent Profile by clicking the Interactions tab.

A deleted transaction is removed from the Transaction List on the Transaction page as well as from the Transaction List in the individual constituent profile. A record of the change can be accessed from the Interactions page in the constituent profile.
