Require the Champion Phone Number

The phone number collection setting determines whether a champion must enter a telephone number to create a fund. By default, the phone number field is displayed on the Champion Information page, and the information is requested. You can also choose to hide this field if needed.

To require the champion to provide a telephone number

  1. From the Personal Fundraising Campaigns list page, click Edit from the Actions column of the campaign. The Edit Campaign Details page displays.

  2. Click Define Champion Information from the side navigation. The Champion Postal Mail and Phone Number Information page displays.

  3. From the Champion Phone Number Entry drop-down list, select Required.

  4. Click Save. The Phone Number field will display on the Champion Information page with an asterisk, indicating that champions must complete this information.

You can continue to make changes on this page or within the campaign (refer to the list of configuration topics). To navigate away from this page, click the Campaigns tab or another item on the navigation bar.
