Require Email Opt In

On the Champion Information page, fund champions can choose to opt in to or out of email. You can customize the email opt-in component.

To customize the email opt-in component

1. From the Personal Fundraising Campaigns list page, click Edit from the Actions column of the campaign. The Edit Campaign Details page displays.

2. Click Define Champion Information from the side navigation. The Champion Postal Mail, Phone Number Information and Email Opt-In page displays.

3. Leave the radio button to display the opt-in checkbox checked.

4. Enter customized text to show the constituent about email opt-in. (If you leave the field blank, default text the user will see default text.

5. Click Save. The Email Opt-in component will display on the Champion Information page and the checkbox to receive email from the site will be checked by default.

You can continue to make changes on this page or within the campaign (refer to the list of configuration topics). To navigate away from this page, click the Campaigns tab or another item on the navigation bar.

Note: Constituents who wish to opt back into email after opting-out should submit the Unblock Me form at unblockme.blackbaud.com.
