Running Email Campaign Reports

If you have access to the Standard User Interface, and you have permission to run reports within Email Campaigns, you can use all (except the variant) reports to report on Email Express messages within a campaign.

Note: Campaigns can include traditional Email Campaign messages as well as Email Express Messages. You can choose to include either Email Express messages or traditional Email Campaign messages in your reports—or include both.

For a specific email campaign, click the Reports tab while in that campaign to run the:

  • Group Performance Report that compares statistics for each group of constituents to which the email messages for an email campaign were sent

  • Message Performance Report that compares statistics for each email message sent within an email campaign

  • Message Open Report that shows the constituents who opened each email message

  • Click-Through Summary Report that shows the click-throughs and forward click-throughs made for each email message within the campaign

  • Click-Through Details Report that shows the constituents who have clicked links within a message and identifies the links clicked

  • Email Response Summary Report that shows how many constituents took actions within a selected message (such as, made a donation, purchased a ticket, and so on)

  • Email Response Details Report that shows each constituent recipient who performed an action for a selected message and information about the action taken

  • Unsubscribe Details Report that shows the constituents who unsubscribed from receiving email

  • Hard Bounce Report that shows the constituents who did not receive the email messages due to a bad email address

  • Soft Bounce Report that shows the constituents who could not receive the email messages due to a temporary condition (such as the recipient’s mailbox is full, the ISP unable to accept email at this time, and so on)

When configuring each report, you will have the opportunity to include Email Express messages in the Select message step, as shown:

Note: Email Express messages are always denoted as (EX) to distinguish them from traditional messages created within an Email Campaign.
