Code S-Tags in the Source View
Authors who prefer to work directly in source mode, or who want to customize their site beyond the WYSIWYG functionality, must code S-Tags manually. The process differs depending on whether you are in the Luminate Online or Luminate CMS product.
While you can achieve many of the same goals by means of the drop-down menus in the Content Editor (WYSIWYG), S-Tag code allows you to go well beyond the WYSIWYG's limitations. S-Tags can be used nearly anywhere in the product - PageBuilder, PageWrapper Editor, even in Surveys and Calendar entries. On "the back end," S-Tags can even add dynamic elements to the Message Catalog and certain Site Data Parameters (SDPs).
