Designate Pages for Syndication
Any PageBuilder page can be designated for syndication. You can create a new page and designate it for syndication when you first create it. You can also return to any existing page and designate it for syndication at a later time. Note that a page must be published before it becomes available for import by other sites.
Note: Images will not display on affiliate pages if placed using relative links. Since there is currently no Absolute Links box on the WYSIWYG HTML editor, you may need to edit your PageBuilder pages with the WYSIWYG Editor disabled if you plan to include images.
The following discussion assumes that you have already created a page that you would like to syndicate. For complete details on how to create a new page in PageBuilder see the PageBuilder documentation.
To designate a PageBuilder page for syndication
Select Content on the navigation bar and then click PageBuilder in the drop-down menu to open the Page Library (list of all site Pages).
Click on the Edit Attributes action for the page you would like to syndicate to open the Identify Page screen.
Scroll down to the Page Properties section (Step #6).
Place a check in the box for This is a Syndicated Page.
Click on the Assign syndication channels link to the right of the check box.
In the pop-up that opens, select one or more channel categories with which to associate the page.
Save your choice(s) and then close the pop-up box.
Click Save on the Page Info screen to save your syndication options. The page will become immediately available for import by your affiliate sites, provided you have a published version of the page.
Note: Once you save the Page Info screen, the Assign syndication channels link changes to read: Update the current channel selection. You can use this link to change the channel selection at any time.
Return to the Page Library List page and note that your page now includes a 'syndicated' flag in the Status column in addition to an Active or Inactive flag.
