Assign Permissions to Security Group
Once a security groups is created, you can assign the permissions, populate the group and test the permissions.
Assign permissions to a Security Group
Click Constituent360 > Groups.
Click one of the following tabs:
Administrator Group List if the group contains administrators with your organization.
User Group List if the group contains constituents.
In the Actions column for the appropriate group, click Edit Permissions.
Select an item from the Permissions Type list, and click Choose. The defined roles for that permission type display below.
Default Permissions are sets of permissions assigned to group members receive unless you override them for special circumstances. For more information, see Understanding Default Permissions.
Configure the Permissions Type.
Click Save. You have successfully assigned some permissions to a group. Repeat the process to add more.
Test the group permissions
Create a new Test Administrator in Constituent360.
Add the Constituent record to the Administrator or User Group.
Log out as a Site Administrator, and log back in as the Test Administrator .
Verify that members of the Group can perform the activities for which you gave them permission.
