Void a Donor's PDF Receipt

There may be a situation that requires you to void a receipt so you can generate a new one for a donor. Some reasons are:

  • Incorrect information - If the donor's name or address are incorrect, this could be a reason to void the original receipt so that a new one can be reissued with the correction information.

  • Refunds - If the donor needs a gift to be refunded, then it would be appropriate to void the receipt.

Void a PDF receipt

  1. Go to Setup > Receipt Manager.

  2. On the Receipts list page, click Manage.

  3. On the Find Receipt page, enter information:

    • First Name of constituent

    • Last Name of constituent

    • Receipt Number range

    • Date when the receipt was issued

  4. Click Search.

  5. When the search results page displays, click Void from the Actions column of the receipt.

  6. On the confirmation pop-up, click OK.
