To add content blocks to the layout for the messages associated with this Coaching Email Express template

  1. To access the Add Content Blocks page:

    1. From the top of an Admin page, click Fundraising > TeamRaiser.

    2. On the TeamRaisers list page, click the Coaching Email Templates tab. (Depending on the site configuration, you may need to scroll to the right to locate the tab.)

    3. In the Coaching Email Templates list page, click Edit from the Actions column of the appropriate template.

    4. From the options along the left of the Identify Template page, click Add Content Blocks.

  2. In the first block, click Add Block.

  3. For the Select Block Layout area, click the appropriate block of elements for the content (like Body Only, WYSIWYG, Two Images, and so on).

    Note: To view the block types for text only, images only, or both text and images, use the Filter Block Types drop-down

  4. In the Configure Block Details pane that displays for the block layout selected:

    1. For Lock this block, click the checkbox to avoid letting coaching email authors change the content defined for the text properties of this block, move this block, or delete it.

    2. For the Text Properties of each element listed:

      • To remove the element from this block, click its Include checkbox to remove the checkmark.

      • To provide suggested text, enter it in the field. If the text is the actual text that cannot be modified, be sure to lock the block; otherwise the text is considered suggested.

      • To change the style set in the stylesheet for this element to another style in the stylesheet, click the appropriate style from the drop-down.

    3. For Image elements:

      • Browse the event image library and select an existing image OR upload the image from your computer or a shared network resource.

      • To link the image to a page, enter the appropriate address in the Link URL field so that the message recipients can click the link to display the page.

      • To provide more information about the image, enter it in the Special Instructions to Express Users area. For example, you can:

        • Tell authors to use the image provided or replace it with a new one

        • Specify the Alt text to display to recipients who use assistive technologies

        • Explain the link destination and purpose

  5. To set a background color in the block:

    1. Click the Advanced Attributes tab.

    2. Click the Background checkbox.

    3. In the field displayed, enter the hexadecimal number that represents the color.

  6. To put a border around the image:

    1. Click the Advanced Attributes tab.

    2. Click the Border checkbox.

    3. If the border will be the same on all four sides:

      1. Click Uniform Border.

      2. For Size, click the width of the border.

      3. For Color, enter the hexadecimal value for the color.

    4. To set specific sizes and colors for each side of the border, click Borders with different attributes and set the Size and Color in each field.

  7. To add space between the border and text:

    1. Click the Advanced Attributes tab.

    2. Click the Padding checkbox.

    3. Select the number of pixels for each side.

  8. To define the margins from the edge of the page:

    1. Click the Advanced Attributes tab.

    2. Click the Margin checkbox.

    3. Select the number of pixels for each margin.

  9. Click Insert Block.

  10. On the Add Contents Block page, click Save.

  11. Click the next Add Block and follow the steps above to configure it.

  12. When you are finished adding blocks, click Next.
