Edit the advanced fundraising options

Note: Some event options shown here may not display if the corresponding site option is not enabled.

  1. For Offline Gift Recording by Participants, leave the checkbox selected to enable participants to click the link (on the My Progress page) to record gifts they receive directly from donors. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, participants cannot enter offline gifts.)

  2. For Offline Unconfirmed Gifts Included in Fundraising Totals, leave the checkbox selected to include the value of unconfirmed gifts in the fundraising statistics and status indicators for the participants, teams, and the event. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, the value of unconfirmed gifts is not included in the information.)

  3. For Offline Payment Types that Participants Can Enter, select each form of payment that participants can enter when they receive a gift directly. (Note: If no options are specifically selected, they can enter any of the types shown in the list.)

  4. For Offline Gift Payment Credit Card Processing, leave the checkbox selected to allow participants to input credit card information when recording offline gifts that donors have given to them. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, participants cannot enter credit card payments.

  5. For Offline Gift Payment Recording by Administrators, leave the checkbox selected to allow administrators to enter credit card information for offline registrations and gifts. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, administrators cannot enter offline gifts.)

  6. For Offline Gift Payment Notifications to Participants, click the checkbox to avoid sending the Someone Made a Donation on Your Behalf autoresponder email to participants when batches of offline gifts are recorded. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, a participant may receive numerous emails at one time.)

  7. For Recurring Gifts, click the checkbox to display the full value of of any recurring gifts in fundraising statistics and status indicators when the gift is made. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, the value of each payment for a recurring gift is added into the information at the time it is processed.)

  8. For Status Indicators Include the Monetary Value of Registration, leave this checkbox selected display the value of all money collected as registration fees in the status indicators. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, registration fees will not display in the status indicators.)

  9. For Top Gifts Status Indicator Displays Amounts, leave the checkbox selected to display the monetary amounts of the gifts along with the donor names in the Top Gift status indicators. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, only the donor names will display in the Top Gift status indicators.

  10. For Top Participants Status Indicator Displays Amounts, leave the checkbox selected to display the monetary amounts of the gifts along with the donor names in the Top Gift status indicators. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, only the donor names will display in the Top Gift status indicators.

  11. For Top Teams Status Indicator Displays Amounts, leave the checkbox selected to display the monetary amounts of the gifts along with the donor names in the Top Gift status indicators. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, only the donor names will display in the Top Gift status indicators.

  12. For Status Indicator Count Description, leave "donations" listed as the label to use in status indicators when the number of donations is displayed instead of the monetary amount of funds collected or enter the term your organization uses.

  13. For Donation Levels, click this checkbox to display donation levels along with the entry field in the Additional Gift area on registration forms. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, only the Additional Gift entry field displays.)

  14. For Fundraising Milestones leave the checkbox selected to allow specific fundraising goal milestones to be set for participants. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, fundraising milestones will not be set.

  15. For Maximum Number of Milestones, leave the default number entered unless you contact Client Care to assist you in changing this. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, the fundraising milestones feature is not enabled.)

  16. For Registration Anonymous Checkbox, click this checkbox to display the Anonymous checkbox on the registration pages where registering participants can specify an Additional Gift along with their registration so that they can hide their name on status indicators on participant, team, and event pages where the gift amount will display. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, the participant name will display along with the gift amount.)

  17. For Registration Public View Checkbox, click this checkbox to display the Hide My Gift checkbox on the registration pages where registering participants can specify an Additional Gift along with their registration page so they can hide the gift from appearing in any status indicators on participant, team, and event pages. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, the gift amount and participant name will display.)

  18. For Team Roster Includes Amount, leave the checkbox clicked to display the amount of funds raised by each teammate on the Team page. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, the fundraising amounts will not be displayed.)

  19. For Offline Team Gifts in the Participant Center:

    • Leave the default, NONE, if participants cannot enter offline gifts they receive for the entire team.

    • Or, selected MEMBERS if participants can enter an offline team gift they receive.

    • Or, enter CAPTAINS if only team captains can enter offline team gifts they receive.

  20. For Gift Categories, click this checkbox to display the gift category drop-down list on the offline gift forms that Event Administrators, Event Managers, and participants use to record offline gifts they have received. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, gift categories are not displayed.)

  21. For PDF Receipts for Self-Donations, (which requires the PDF Receipting feature enabled) click this checkbox to avoid automatically issuing a PDF receipt to participants who make a gift in support of their own fundraising efforts when the gift or registration with the gift is processed. (Note: If the checkbox is blank, a PDF receipt will automatically be generated for the gift.)

  22. For Donations 2 Registration Transaction Processing, keep this selection to enable payment options, like PayPal and bank account withdrawals, and the responsive layout for TeamRaiser registration payments.

    Note: Donations 2 is the default for all TeamRaiser events created after the 16.1 release of Luminate Online.

  23. Click Save.
