Customize an autoresponder for a TeamRaiser event

Note: If you do not set a date for an event (for example, in the case of a virtual event), no autoresponders will be sent.

  1. In the Autoresponders list, click Edit from the Actions column of the appropriate autoresponder.
  2. Envelope page

    • Enter theSender Name to display in the From field for this autoresponder.

    • Enter the Sender Email Address that will receive the replies from the autoresponder.

    • Enter a Subject Line to display in the subject field for the autoresponder.

    • For Message Stationery, click the appropriate option to add the appropriate header, footer, and sidebar elements to display around the content of the message.

    • Click Next.

  1. Edit HTML Content page

    • Add or edit the autoresponder content.

      Note: To access the Help topics for assistance with this Content Editor, click the Help link or icon in the upper right of the Content Editor window.

    • Click Next.

  2. Update Plain Text page

    • Click Update Plain Text.

    • For Plain Text Content, check the spacing between paragraphs and make any necessary revisions for recipients who do not have HTML enabled in their email.

      Note: If you make changes to the HTML content and click Update Plain Text, those changes will overwrite any changes you made in the Plain text Content. We recommend making changes to the Plain Text once the HTML content is final.

    • Click Next.

  3. Event Manager Content page

    • Make any necessary edits.

      Note: This area is blank until an Event Manager enters content in the Event Management Center.

  1. Click Next.
